Case Studies in Communication Sciences and Disorders, 2nd Edition (EPUB)

Case Studies in Communication Sciences and Disorders, Second Edition by Dr. Dennis Tanner provides engaging factual and historical information about each of the major communication disorders. The case studies presented in each chapter uncover the functional barriers encountered by clients of practicing speech-language pathologists and audiologists. Each chapter provides a scholarly overview of a communication disorder with an emphasis on etiology, diagnosis, and treatment and uses several case studies to illustrate the many different presentations of each disorder. Over 50 case studies reflect true clinical practice and include detailed patient histories that give humanity and depth to the patient-clinician relationship.
