Cardiovascular Emergencies Recognition and Management Volume 1 and Vol. II begins with a brief overview of history taking, physical examination, and investigative techniques just as in any other book in the discipline of medicine. Percutaneous coronary interventions remain the cornerstone in the management of both acute and chronic coronary obstructions, congenital anomalies; optical coherence tomography, IVUS and fractional flow reserve (FFR ) in any of the cardiac catheterization laboratories but till recently coronary angioplasty has also been performed with robotic interventions.
