Psychologie und Klimakrise: Psychologische Erkenntnisse zum klimabezogenen Verhalten und Erleben (essentials) (German Edition) (EPUB)

By Marcel Hunecke
Starting points and strategies for promoting sustainable behavior are named on the basis of environmental psychological findings. However, a socio-ecological transformation requires not only the change of specific behaviors, but comprehensive changes in the existing lifestyles. The psychological resources approach pursues this goal by considering subjective well-being as a central source of motivation for sustainable behavior. It is also important to overcome the feelings of powerlessness and helplessness caused by the climate crisis in order to strengthen individual and collective commitment to climate protection.
