This book presents an innovative model of care for a population that requires physical rehabilitation due to musculoskeletal injuries and considers decentralized care through the use of new communication technologies, which go hand in hand with telemedicine applications such as consultation , diagnosis, information management, consultation of medical records and tele-operation. Likewise, the system architecture proposed here considers a service-oriented structure that uses a graphical-formal tool called a colored Petri net for its validation. Additionally, this study traces the design and implementation of technological aids, web services and integration with an information system.
